Created between 1498 and 1503 by the Florentine artist Giovanni di Domenico, this magnificent stained-glass window transforms the familiar Annunciation into an extraordinary composition of jewel-like color and celestial light. Today, it belongs to the National Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C.
