The original Renaissance era Stained Glass Window, "The Angel of the Annunciation," was created in the year 1498 in Florence, Italy at Santa Maria Maddalena de-Pazzi.  The artist was Giovanni di Domenico; presently this Masterpiece is on view at the National Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C.
