The original Renaissance era Stained Glass Window is titled "The Angel of the Annunciation", and it was created in the year 1498 in Florence, Italy at Santa Maria Maddalena de-Pazzi.  The artist was Giovanni di Domenico, and it is presently on view at the National Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C.
