The original work of art, a Byzantine era 13th Century Masterpiece, is titled "Madonna and Child with St. John the Baptist, St. Peter, and Two Angels".  It was painted in the year 1290 and the artist is unknown. The original Masterpiece is at the National Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C. where it presently is on view.
