Collection: Christ and the Virgin Enthroned with Forty Saints, 1328 COLLECTION

This Masterpiece titled "Christ and the Virgin Enthroned with Forty Saints" was painted in the year 1328 as a miniature page on vellum inside of a Choir Book (Laudario).  The Artist is known as the Master of the Dominican Effigies.  The original is at the National Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C., and it is not currently on view.

The vibrant, yet muted color combinations with the figures all bearing golden halo's around their heads, makes for a unique and strikingly beautiful work of art.

Using this design for inspiration in my "Christ and the Virgin Enthroned with Forty Saints", 1328 Collection" you now can enjoy the simplistic beauty of this masterpiece in your daily life.

Because I feel that it's much better to admire and enjoy magnificent Masterpieces such as this, than to let them stay hidden in archives.
